There's obviously a lot of songs about cities, but I don't know too many. This one however I've had on vinyl, casette, CD and πPod.

What I didn't know was how hard it was to sing!! It's next to impossible for a normal man to sing it in the register sir Paul did it, so I transposed it down a few steps, ... amd the melody ain't that straight-forward either.

Also I re-arranged the chords a bit to fit for an acoustic version.

two guitars,  bass and quite a few voices ....

This is for my friends and family in London !!!

Hey Geir, I think this is fantastic, and not just the main vocal, your harmonies are top notch as well - cracking job! I also believe PM is from another vocal universe, I watched a prog last week where he was playing piano with Jules Holland singing Lady Madonna, and he effortlessly stepped it up a gear...at his age!

a most excellent cover..loved it

as a curious incident, today the christmas tree that is to be placed at Trafalgar Square in London was cut down in the woods east of Oslo today. It's a tradition that starter right after WW2 and still is kept alive today. So a big THANK YOU to the british people for all the support and all the good music you've given us !!!

And a big thank you to Germany for Nena and Lena !!! I really love both 99 Luftballoons and Satellite Grin Wink

I have to admit I am not familiar with Paul's original, but this one will do.

Well orchestrated and, yea, well sung. Grin Grin
