hello friends. I have not posted anything for ages. But this morning I heard myself singing this leonard cohen cover, so I pressed the red button. As usual the third word I sang was wrong. The upstairs neighbour started moving her furniture around. And the dishwasher was on. A mercy this is not a live in the kitchen festival. thanks for listening daniel

Dear Daniel, Love it! (like always, it is not a surprise...) I want more Leonard Cohen Covers from you!!!
Don't hear your neighbours doing some noises... it's the "charme" of the live in the living room ... a living context, with real perople and real life around musicians!

A week after my first listen, I am listening to your cover.
Your "parlé-chanté" (spoken word in english?) in the beginning of the song is excellent
It is true that I 've had the honour to hear an other version of this song in live conditions, but I like very much this one...
A cool interpretation because for me, you sing it with your own style, very specific to you, and in the same time, you are respecting the spirit of the Leonard Cohen's song...
Happy to my second listen... hope there are some songcrafters' people going to comment this cover!!!
Musicaly and friendly
Jean-Sébastien |

Haylie, thank you so much for the bump : I forgot I recorded and posted this cover. And thanks to all of you for the kind words.
Jean Sebastien, yes we must post a collab of some kind before the end of the summer.
