Harry Nilsson I ain't.

It's when you start doing a cover that you fully realize and understand somebody's genius. This was way hard. It took me all afternoon to rehearse and perform it. Simple but incredibly difficult to do. This one's for you, cuthbert...

oh yea, went for a folky feel. Dunno why....

It's a wonderful thing to hear you doing live takes. It's also really odd to hear you do something sorta normal.

Oh, you had to know I was going to love this! Well I do love it, and hearing it has made my day. My week, even. Smiley

Love the fishing sound effects just like in The Point, and your guitar is sparse and perfect - kind of also reminds me of Harry's 'Moonbeam Song'. And your singing fits like a glove - I think you've done Harry proud! I was also expecting you to continue narration as it faded...  Wink

I've got a couple of Nilsson irons in the fire myself...and I know what you mean, some seemingly simple music with that genius voice of his, like acrobat stunts on a flying trapeze. Not at all easy to pull off. But you've done it, my friend!

This one's definitely B.O.S.S.!

This could be a good opportunity to learn a trick or two from the old master Hen.......if you don't mind sharing your secrets..........how did you ever capture this vocal..........I need to know, its so clear and present and well, perfect sounding.  Is this straight into the microBR or is there some other wizardly trickery involved.  I would love to be a fly on the wall at one of your recording sessions.
